SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver and South Dakota State captured Summit League Swimming and Diving Peak Performer of the Week honors League officials announced Tuesday.
The latest awards make it the third career honor for Denver’s Dylan Wright and the ninth career for fellow Pioneer Zyad Morsy. DU’s Ines Marin captured her second career honor while Anna Mei Castro took home the first of her career.

MEN’S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Dylan Wright, Denver

- Collected his third career weekly award
- Guided the Pios to second place at the CSUB Sprint Classic and first at the Roadrunner Invite
- Won the 50 back with a time of 23.63
- Took second in the 200 fly with a league-leading time of 1:51.80
- Finished runner-up in the 200 back with a league-best time of 1:48.12
- Placed third in the 100 back with a time of 50.45
- Swam legs in the 400 medley relay (2nd - 3:22.54), 800 medley relay (2nd - 6:48.76) and 200 medley relay (3rd - 1:32.95)

- Helped the Pioneers to first-place finishes at the CSUB Sprint Classic and Roadrunner Invite
- Won the 200 free with a time of 1:51.54, recording the top time in a 49-swimmer field
- Was first out of 70 swimmers in the 100 free with a time of 51.83
- Swam a leg of the winning 800 free relay that clocked a time of 7:33.63
- Finished second out of 48 competitors in the 100 fly with a 56.64 time
- Was a member of the 400 medley relay (3:49.81) that finished second at the Roadrunner Invite
- Swam a leg of the runner-up 200 medley relay (1:44.91) at the CSUB Sprint Classic
