SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver and Omaha earned Summit League Swimming and Diving Peak Performer of the Week accolades following standout performances during the opening weekend of the season, League officials released Tuesday.
This week's honors are the first career one for Stefan Varga and the eighth career one for Zyad Morsy. On the women's side, it was the first career accolade for Ava Snyder and seventh overall for Jessica Maeda.

MEN'S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Stefan Varga, Omaha
Jr | Back/IM | Stockholm, Sweden
- Collected his first career weekly award
- Posted the League's fastest times in the 100 fly (50.08 – 2nd), 100 back (50.34 – 1st) and 50 back (22.92)
- Also posted times among the top five in the League for the 200 back (1:53.92 – 1st), the 200 IM (1:55.74 – 2nd), the 100 free (46.53) and the 50 free (21.17 – 2nd)
- Swam a leg of the winning 200 medley relay (1:32.33) and the 400 free relay (3:05.29)

- Won the 3-meter dive with a NCAA Zone cut score of 353.15
- Won the platform dive with a score of 282.20
- Took third in the 1-meter dive with a score of 273.80

- Helped Denver to a third-place finish at Air Force
- Notched the top times among the League in her individual events
- Won the 200 breast with a time of 2:20.86
- Finished third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.07
- Captured third in the 100 breast in a time of 1:05.15
- Swam a leg of the 400 medley and 200 medley relays that both took third
