SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver and South Dakota captured this week's Summit League Swimming and Diving Peak Performer accolades, League officials released Tuesday.
This week's awards are the first of the season for South Dakota's Nick Rounds, second for Denver's Jessica Maeda and Kaitlin Calvery and the fourth for DU's Zyad Morsy.

MEN'S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Nick Rounds, South Dakota

- Contributed seven top-three finishes at the Huskie (Coyote) Invite
- Won the 50 free on Friday with a league-leading time of 20.74
- Took second in the 100 back (51.23)
- Swam the lead leg (20.67) of the 200 free relay that finished runner-up (1:23.58)
- Was a member of the 200 medley relay (2nd – 1:31.51), 400 medley relay (3rd - 3:24.60) and 400 free relay (2nd – 3:05.51)

- Earned NCAA Zone Cuts on both boards

- Part of three event wins in the Pioneers win over in-state rival Colorado State
- Won the 100 breast by more than two seconds with a league-leading time of 1:02.68
- Took the 200 breast title with a league-leading time of 2:17.72
- Second in the 200 IM with a league-best time of 2:05.90
- Swam a leg of the winning 400 medley relay (3:46.46)

- Tabbed the third 1-meter board NCAA Cut this season
