SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver and South Dakota captured this week's Summit League Swimming and Diving Peak Performer accolades, League officials released Tuesday.
 
This week's awards are the first of the season for South Dakota's Nick Rounds, second for Denver's Jessica Maeda and Kaitlin Calvery and the fourth for DU's Zyad Morsy.

MEN'S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Nick Rounds, South Dakota
Fr | Free/Back | West Des Moines, Iowa

• Collected his first career weekly award
• Contributed seven top-three finishes at the Huskie (Coyote) Invite
• Won the 50 free on Friday with a league-leading time of 20.74
• Took second in the 100 back (51.23)
• Swam the lead leg (20.67) of the 200 free relay that finished runner-up (1:23.58)
• Was a member of the 200 medley relay (2^nd – 1:31.51), 400 medley relay (3^rd - 3:24.60) and 400 free relay (2^nd – 3:05.51)

• Earned his 11^th career weekly honor, fourth of the season
• Scored crucial points in a tight dual win over Colorado Mesa
• Won the men's 3-meter dive with a season-high score of 360.60
• Took second in the 1-meter dive with a score of 342.00
• Earned NCAA Zone Cuts on both boards

WOMEN'S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

Sr | Breast/IM/Free | Tigard, Oregon

• Capture her eighth career weekly accolade, second of the season
• Part of three event wins in the Pioneers win over in-state rival Colorado State
• Won the 100 breast by more than two seconds with a league-leading time of 1:02.68
• Took the 200 breast title with a league-leading time of 2:17.72
• Second in the 200 IM with a league-best time of 2:05.90
• Swam a leg of the winning 400 medley relay (3:46.46)

• Picked up key points in the dual win over in-state rival Colorado State
• Swept both boards at the dual
• Won the 3-meter board with a score of 268.25
• Captured the 1-meter board with an NCAA Zone cut score of 272.75
• Tabbed the third 1-meter board NCAA Cut this season
