USD’s Moser, UNO’s Nuismer garner #SummitSB weekly honors

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota’s Gabby Moser and Omaha’s Sydney Nuismer collected the latest TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Performer of the Pitcher of the Week nods, respectively, League officials announced Monday.
 
Moser went 6-for-17 (.353) with seven RBI, two runs scored one home run and one double at the Tennessee Invitational. The Central City, Neb., native belted a two-run double in fifth inning of win over Missouri State which accounted for winning runs.
 
The senior posted the game winning hit in another victory over Missouri State and had at least one hit in four of five games.
 
Nusimer recorded her sixth win of the season against Valparaiso where she pitched four innings with two strikeouts and no runs allowed. The Elkhorn, Neb., native then followed that up with a complete-game seven inning no-hitter against Rider going all seven innings with seven strikeouts, one walk and no runs allowed.
