SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League saw over 1,800 student-athletes named to the 2023-24 Academic Honor Roll, League officials announced Tuesday. The list of honorees includes students from all nine full-time member institutions and seven associate members competing in 17 different sports.
 
Qualifications

• Student-athletes must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average (GPA), on a 4.0 scale, for the year awarded.
• Student-athletes must have used a season of competition (a year of athletic eligibility) in the sport in which he/she is nominated.

By The Numbers

• A total of 1,809 student-athletes across 17 sports were named to the honor roll.
• For the third straight year, St. Thomas headlined the honorees turning in the most total selections and total number of student-athletes.
• The Tommies led the charge with 270 total selections while South Dakota (245) and Omaha (221) rounded out the top three teams with the most selections.
• St. Thomas’ 243 total student-athletes paced the League and were followed up by South Dakota’s 221 and Omaha’s 205 total student-athletes, respectively.
