SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver’s Hamish McLellan, Colin Breuer, and Savanna Berry, along with St. Thomas’ Ellie Undem earned the latest Summit League Kwik Star Swimming and Diving Peak Performer of the Week awards, League officials released Tuesday. McLellan and Breuer collected the men’s swimmer and diver honors, respectively, while Undem and Berry garnered the women’s swimmer and diver awards, respectively.
This week’s men’s awards mark the second career award for McLellan and first career accolade for Breuer. On the women’s side, Undem earned her first career honor, while Berry garnered the third of her career.
McLellan earned a victory in the 100 fly to help Denver secure its first dual win of the season over Wyoming. The Pioneers also found success on the boards, as Breuer achieved an NCAA Zone Cut in the 3-meter event and Berry added a fifth-place finish in both dives.
Undem captured victories in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events during the dual against Omaha while helping the Tommies to second-place finishes in a pair of relays.
MEN’S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Hamish McLellan, Denver

- Won the 100 fly, leading the 20-swimmer field with a 48.81, marking his second win in the event in two meets this season

- Finished 3rd/15 in the men's 3-meter with a 322.65 and 5th/13 on the platform with a 266.70

WOMEN’S PEAK SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

- Swept the 50 and 100 freestyle races while also winning the 50 free with a time of 23.65 and 100 free with a time of 52.22
- Collected her first career weekly award

- Collected her third career weekly award and first of the season
