SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- All seven Summit League men's soccer squads remain in contention postseason berth as the 2025 conference slate enters the home stretch with three matches on both Saturday and Wednesday. None of the four postseason berths have been secured yet, but that will likely change following Saturday's trio of Summit contests that feature (RV/NR) Kansas City at UMass, St. Thomas at Delaware, and Oral Roberts at (RV/NR) Denver.
It's a straightforward scenario for Denver, Kansas City and Delaware -- the top three teams in the standings entering the weekend -- win and you're in.
Wednesday's set of Summit matches carries its own postseason implications, as the Blue Hens visit the Roos, the Pioneers travel to face the Tommies, and Omaha heads south to meet the Golden Eagles.

AROUND THE LEAGUE
• Kansas City improved its win streak to five straight with a 2-0 win at Michigan State. Raphael Kistmann delivered the game-winning goal in the 50th minute, finishing a corner kick that gave him a tally in three consecutive matches.
• The Roos were the first team outside the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 this week, receiving five points, while Denver was just behind Kansas City, receiving four points.
• Denver moved back to the top of the Summit League table with a 2-0 road win at Omaha. Kyle McGowan scored both goals for the Pioneers to record his first career brace. He now leads DU with six goals on the campaign.
• DU goalkeeper Isaac Nehme has shutouts in three of his last four starts to push his career total to 33, which is just one shy of tying the all-time Summit League record held by former Oakland standout Mike Skolnik (1998-2001).
• The Pioneers and Roos both sit at 3-1-0 with nine points heading into a weekend where all seven Summit League squads are alive for one of four postseason spots at the 2025 Championship.
• UMass and St. Thomas played to a 0-0 draw Saturday in St. Paul. Minuteman goalkeeper Dean Linden made a career-high 12 saves and recorded his second shutout of the week as he was making just his third and fourth starts of the season.
• The Minutmen played the final 32 minutes a man down against the Tommies, who mustered 16 second-half shots with 10 of those coming on frame.
• Oral Roberts goalkeeper Joao Mesquita recorded his second straight shutout in Summit play, holding the nation’s top-scoring offense off the scoreboard in a 0-0 draw with Delaware.
• Mesquita stopped five shots by the Blue Hens, who were held scoreless for just the second time in a match this season. He currently boasts a .944 save percentage in four Summit games and ranks third with 17 saves.
• The Golden Eagles travel to the Mile High City to face a Denver squad that is one of three still vying for a regular season championship.
• The Pioneers have won 10 regular season titles since 2013 and vying for their third straight in 2025. DU closes out the regular season Wednesday at St. Thomas.
• Kansas City travels to UMass Saturday as the Roos are in pursuit of their first regular season crown since 2010, which was the only outright title among the five the program has won as League members.
• Delaware currently sits in third behind the Roos and Pioneers with a home match vs. St. Thomas on the docket for Saturday before wrapping things up Wednesday at Kansas City.
• The Blue Hens’ only previous regular season title at the Division I level was in 2014 when they won the Coastal Athletic Association title with a 5-2-1 record.
• Omaha takes a break from Summit play as UCLA visits for a non-conference clash on Saturday. The Mavericks will wrap up conference play Wednesday at Oral Roberts.
