SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Through written notice, the University of Denver has informed the Summit League its intent to withdraw from the League, effective June 30, 2026.

The Summit League and its member institutions have maintained a commitment to developing student-athletes through exceptional experiences across broad-based athletics and academics for more than 40 years. That focus will not change for the future. The League always has been and will remain steadfast in continuing efforts to pursue new members who align with the strong academic and athletic values of our existing institutions.
