• The Jackrabbits were the first team to go undefeated through conference play since South Dakota went 16-0 to win the 2019 title. Over the past two seasons, SDSU is 35-1 in Summit action.
• The No. 1 seed has won the tournament title just once since 2017 (South Dakota; 2022), but has hoisted the trophy 22 out of 33 times overall.
• South Dakota (2020, 2024) and Purdue Fort Wayne (2009) are the only No. 3 seeds to win the tournament - the other 30 champions were either the No. 1 (22x) or No. 2 (8x) seeds.
•The No. 2 seed has won four of the last seven tournaments, including two seasons ago when Omaha captured the program’s first Division I postseason trophy.
• Since the field expanded to six teams in 2013, Omaha and South Dakota are the only non-No. 1 or No. 2 seeds to advance to the title game. The Mavericks made the title game in 2015 as the No. 3 seed and 2019 as the No. 4 seed. The Coyotes won the title game as the No. 3 seed a season ago.
(No. 3 seed South Dakota won the title in 2020 when it was a four-team field due to Covid).
