SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver’s Hamish McLellan, Trip Gregory, Isa Cardenas, and Savanna Berry were named the final Summit League Kwik Star Swimming and Diving Peak Performers of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday. McLellan and Gregory earned the men’s swimmer and diver honors, respectively, while Cardenas and Berry garnered the women’s swimmer and diver accolades, respectively.

For the men, McLellan captured first in the 100 fly with a time of 47.09 and added a third-place finish in the 200 fly, clocking an altitude-adjusted 1:47.97, second in the league behind teammate Gabe Jones. Gregory collected a milestone in diving, winning the 3-meter against Wyoming with a mark of 349.30, moving into fifth in Denver’s history on the 3-meter board and earning an NCAA Zone Cut.
 
On the women’s side, Cardenas led the Pioneers with victories in the 100 back (55.59) and 200 IM (2:05.04), while also contributing to three winning relay teams in the 200 free, 200 medley, and 400 free. Berry continued her dominance on the boards, topping the 3-meter dive (13 dives) with a score of 318.15 to earn an NCAA Zone Cut and collect her eighth career weekly award, sixth of the season.
