#SummitITF quartet prepped for NCAA Indoor Championships

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Four student-athletes from a trio of Summit League institutions will be competing at the 2026 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Ark. The South Dakota pole vaulting duo of Marleen Mülla and Anna Willis qualified for spots in the women's championship along with North Dakota distance runner Jayden Keeler, while North Dakota State heptathlete Zach McGlynn qualified to compete in the men's heptathlon.

Mülla, a three-time NCAA Indoor All-American, and Keeler will be defending All-Americans in their respective events at the indoor championships, while Willis and McGlynn will be making their respective debuts. The indoor championships, hosted by the University of Arkansas, will take place at the Randal Tyson Center and be streamed on ESPN+.

Friday, March 13:
Zach McGlynn | Jr | Heptathlon – 11 a.m. CT (60-meter), 11:40 a.m. CT (Long Jump), 12:50 p.m. CT (Shot Put), 2 p.m. CT (High Jump) 
  • Captured the 2026 Summit League Indoor Championship Field MVP for the second time in his career (2024) after tying for second in the pole vault, taking third in the long jump and fourth in the high jump
  • Qualified for the national meet after winning the heptathlon at the Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational with a personal-best score of 5,975 points on Jan. 30
  • Enters NCAA Championship sixth in the heptathlon national rankings
  • Making first career appearance at an NCAA Championship  
Jadyn Keeler, North Dakota | Jr | 5,000 – 7:05 p.m. CT
  • Back-to-back Summit League Indoor Championship Track MVP after sweeping all three distance races (mile, 3,000, and 5,000 meters)
  • Qualified for the national meet with a personal record of 15:14.76 at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Dec. 6
  • Enters the NCAA Championship 16th in the 5,000-meter national rankings 
  • Making her second NCAA indoor championship appearance after earning second-team All-America honors with a 10th-place finish in 2025 (15:31.63)
Saturday, March 14: 
Zach McGlynn | Jr | Heptathlon – 11:15 a.m. CT (60-meter Hurdles), 11:50 a.m. CT (Pole Vault), 4 p.m. CT (1,000 meters)

Marleen Mulla | Gr | Pole Vault – 4 p.m. CT
  • Won the 2026 Summit League Indoor Championship pole vault title for the third time with a clearance of 14-3.25" (4.36m)  
  • Qualified for the national meet with a personal best and school record clearance of 15-2.25" (4.63m) at the Nebraska Tune-Up on Feb. 20
  • Enters the NCAA Championship second in the pole vault national rankings
  • Claimed All-America honors in each of her three previous indoor championship appearances, including a career best third-place finish in 2023 (14-7.25"; 4.45m)
Anna Willis | Gr | Pole Vault – 4 p.m. CT
  • Placed second in the 2026 Summit League Indoor Championship pole vault, clearing 13-3.75" (4.06m) 
  • Qualified for the national meet with a winning clearance of 15-1" (4.60m) at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 14
  • Enters the NCAA Championship third in the pole vault national rankings
  • Making NCAA Indoor Championship debut after earning All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championship in the pole vault
