FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – North Dakota distance runner Jadyn Keeler put on an All-American performance for the second straight season at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The indoor season for UND and career for the Barrie, Ontario-native came to a close in shimmering fashion down in Arkansas at the national championship meet. Keeler clocked a time of 15:40.81 to take 12
th place overall in the women's 5000-meter run, securing Second Team All-America honors. She initially entered the race seeded 15
th off her time of 15:14.76 earlier this season at the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener that made Fighting Hawk history.
Keeler remains just the fourth Hawk to qualify for the indoor championships and still holds as the lone UND athlete to qualify for a track-related event. She closes her indoor career as a two-time Second Team All-American, a six-time Summit League champion and a two-time Summit League Women's Track MVP.
