VERMILLION, S.D. – March basketball is all about moving on, and South Dakota has done just that in the WNIT.
Following a First Round bye, the Coyotes opened postseason play in the Second Round with an impressive 80-60 victory over Northern Colorado at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center in Vermillion. The win pushed South Dakota to 15-5 all-time in WNIT competition and secured a spot in the Super 16, where it will square off against Pepperdine for the second time this season. The previous meeting on Dec. 17 was won by the Waves on their home floor, 73-65
In the Super 16, the Coyotes will host the Waves Thursday night (March 26) with a tip time set for 7 p.m. CT.
The game will be streamed live on the Summit League Network powered by Midco Sports.
