TULSA, Okla. – No. 1 Denver left little doubt on Saturday, rolling past No. 2 North Dakota with a 4-0 sweep to secure its seventh straight Summit League Men’s Tennis Championship at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. With the victory, the Pioneers once again punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament with the league’s automatic bid.

Denver wasted no time establishing control, claiming the doubles point behind wins at the No. 3 and No. 2 spots. Aaron Beduhn and Summit League Player of the Year Raffaello Papajcik delivered a 6-1 victory over Leo Galliano and Cole Wilber, while Ryoma Mishiro and Samuel Rovai followed with a 6-3 win against Justin Ilic and Kotaro Matsumura to give the Pioneers an early edge.

From there, Denver’s depth in singles proved decisive as Beduhn extended the lead with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 6, and Connor Robb-Wilcox kept the pressure on with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Christos Alex at No. 5 to make it 3-0.

Mishiro ultimately put the finishing touches on the championship run, securing a 6-3, 6-3 win over North Dakota's Ilic at the No. 4 position to clinch the match and cap off another dominant postseason performance for the Pioneers.

The result continues Denver’s stronghold on the Summit League, as the program extends its title streak and heads back to the national stage with momentum.
