SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota's Jadyn Keeler and South Dakota's Anna Willis, along with Kansas City's Tory Lanham and Oral Roberts' Jordan Wenger, were named Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Year, League officials announced Tuesday.
The award recipients were selected by a vote of the League's head coaches and based on their performances throughout the 2026 outdoor season.
On the women's side, Keeler, the 2026 Summit League Women's Outdoor Track Championship MVP, became the first Fighting Hawk in League history to earn Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year honors in consecutive seasons. Willis became the fourth Coyote to be named Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year.
On the men's side, Lanham became the first Roo to earn Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year honors in consecutive seasons, while Wenger became the first Golden Eagle to be named Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year since Summit League Hall of Famer Jack Whitt in 2012.
Jadyn Keeler, North Dakota
Senior | Barrie, Ontario, Canada
- Became the first Fighting Hawk to walk away with the Summit League Women’s Track Championship MVP in back-to-back seasons award after totaling 38 points
- Earned her first gold medal at the 2026 League Outdoor Championship in the 10,000m after crossing the finish line in 35:03.58 to set a new meet record
- Captured her second gold medal in the 3,000m steeplechase, setting a new meet record with a time of 10:00.45
- Also captured gold in the 5,000m with a time of 16:13.10
- Placed second in the 1,500m with a time of 4:27.46
- Owned the League’s top 1500m, 5000m,10,000m and 3000m steeplechase times during the outdoor season
- Rewrote the UND outdoor record book in the distance events and now owns the program’s top times in the 1500m (4:19.41), 5000m (15:26.87), 10,000m (31:56.03) and 3000m steeplechase (10:00.45)
- Became the first UND student-athlete to claim two All-America finishes at the same NCAA meet
- Finished 6th at the NCAA Outdoor Championship in the 10,000m, running a 32:04.97 to earn first team All-American accolades
- Finished 12th in the 5000m at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 15:27.43 to earn second team All-American honors
Anna Willis, South Dakota
Sophomore | Colorado Springs, Colo.
- Placed second in the pole vault at the League Outdoor Championship with a vault of 13-10.5” (4.23m)
- Crowned Drake Relays champion with a record clearance of 15-2.25” (4.63m)
- Qualified for the pole vault at the NCAA Championship with a vault of 14-6.25” (4.43m) during the NCAA West Preliminary rounds
- Finished 3rd at the NCAA Outdoor Championship with a vault of 15-2.75” (4.64m), earning first team All-American accolades and setting a new South Dakota record
- Currently ranked 20th in the World and third in the NCAA with her 4.64-meter clearance
- Third all-American honor of her career
- Named Peak Performer of the Week three times during the outdoor season
Tory Lanham, Kansas City
Junior | Kansas City, Mo.
- Clocked a 20.34 in the 200-meter prelims at the 2026 Summit League Outdoor Championship to set a new meet record
- Captured his third career 200m League outdoor title with a time of 20.39
- Placed first in the 4x100-meter relay at the League Outdoor Championship with a time of 40.21
- Earned his third medal of the League Outdoor Championship after running the anchor leg of the 4x400-meter relay and clocking a runner up time of 3:12.43
- Ran a 20.54 in the 200-meter dash during the NCAA West Preliminary rounds to qualify for the NCAA Championship
- Placed 14th at the NCAA Championship in the 200-meter dash with a time of 20.45 to earn Second Team All-American accolades
- Owned the League’s top 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash time of the outdoor season
Jordan Wenger, Oral Roberts
Sophomore | Colorado Springs, Colo.
- Champion in the high jump at the League Outdoor Championship with a leap of 6-11.5” (2.12m)
- Finished fourth at the NCAA West Preliminary round after clearing 7-2.5” (2.20m) to qualify for the NCAA Championship
- First Golden Eagle to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship since 2019
- Placed fourth at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship with a career best jump of 7-4.5” (2.25m) to garner first team All-America honors
- Set the ORU high jump school record on three different occasions throughout the 2026 outdoor season
- Earned Peak Performer accolades once during the outdoor season
