SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A total of 1,910 student-athletes were named to the 2025–26 Academic Honor Roll released Tuesday by League officials. Honorees represent all institutions that competed in the League's 17 sports.

Qualifications

• Student-athletes must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average (GPA), on a 4.0 scale, for the year awarded.
• Student-athletes must have used a season of competition (a year of athletic eligibility) in the sport in which he/she is nominated.

By The Numbers

• A total of 1,910 student-athletes across 17 sports were selected to the honor roll with 148 of those earning dual-distinction for cross country and track and field.
• For the fourth straight year, St. Thomas headlined the honorees turning in the most total selections and total number of student-athletes.
• The Tommies led the way with 325 total selections while South Dakota State and Omaha followed tying for second with 227 
• St. Thomas’ 294 total student-athletes paced the League and were followed up by North Dakota State’s 213 and Omaha's 212 total student-athletes, respectively.
