SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State’s Jade Rypkema earned the second Summit League Cross Country Peak Performer of the Week honor of the season, league officials announced Tuesday. 
 
Rypkema captured the women’s 6K individual title at the UMary Marauders Opener with a time of 21:26.6, helping the Bison to a first-place team finish. The Minnesota native won the individual title in her first cross country race for the Bison. 
 
The Bison scored 19 points to win the seven-team meet. NDSU placed 1-3-4-5-6 and posted 11 of the top 13 finishers in the women’s six-kilometer race.
