SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State’s Ethan Moe and Jade Rypkema earned the third Summit League Cross Country Peak Performer of the Week honors of the season, league officials announced Tuesday. Both runners had the fastest times amongst Summit League athletes in their respective races.
Moe placed ninth in the men’s 8K with a time of 24:11.1, helping the Bison to a fifth-place team finish. His performance marked the best finish by a North Dakota State runner at the Roy Griak Invitational during the Bison’s Division I era and the second-fastest 8K time of his career.
Rypkema paced the Bison to a third-place team finish in the women’s 6K, crossing the finish line in sixth place with a personal-best time of 20:05.4. The Nevis, Minn., native’s performance marked the second-fastest 6K time in North Dakota State history.
