SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Kansas City Midfielder/Defender Elouan Labadie-Vincent and forward Mariano Beunza earned the fifth Summit League Men’s Soccer Peak Performer of the Week honors of the season, the league announced Tuesday. Labadie-Vincent claimed the defensive honor while Beunza earned the offensive nod. 

Labadie-Vincent had a pair of impactful substitute appearances against ranked programs for the Roos. Last Wednesday, he scored his first two collegiate goals against No. 12 Missouri State in a 3-3 draw. Labadie-Vincent followed it up with 26 solid minutes, helping the Roos to a 1-0 shutout victory over No. 7 San Diego. 

When UMKC needed offense late in both games, it was Beunza who provided a spark. Against the Bears, he buried the equalizer in the 88th minute to finish a 3-3 draw. He would play all 90 minutes against the Toreros, scoring the lone goal with a diving header in the 74th minute to power the Roos to a 1-0 victory.
