SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State shortstop Bennett Hostetler and Western Illinois righthander Chandler Fochs claimed the latest #SummitBSB weekly awards, Summit League officials announced Monday.

Hostetler collected his second weekly honor of the season after going 7-for-11 with four RBI and six stolen bases in the three victories over Dayton. The senior had multiple hits in each of those wins, including a 3-for-3 effort in game two when he also stole four bases. In Sunday’s victory, he went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI.

Fochs tossed the first complete-game shutout for the Leathernecks since 2014, going the full nine innings against Saint Louis. The righthander scattered five hits, walked two and fanned three Billikens to pick up his second win of the season.
