#SummitBSB Weekly Notebook: No. 7

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- For the fourth time in the last eight games, Omaha delivered a walk-off win. The latest one had a little added meaning to it as it lifted the Mavericks to a 2-1 series victory over St. Thomas in what was the first Summit League series for both squads.

The Mavericks will take that momentum with them to Tulsa where they will play the Golden Eagles, who used a 5-4, 14-inning victory in game one of their series with South Dakota State to propel them to a sweep of the Jackrabbits.

The Tommies earned their first Summit League victory in game two of the series at Omaha, taking that one by the score of 8-6. St. Thomas will play host to South Dakota State in St. Paul this weekend as they play the program's first Division I home games.

NDSU's offense averaged nearly 15 runs per game in each of their its three victories at Northern Colorado as they swept the Bears in Greeley. Catcher Logan Williams continued his hot streak, homering in all three games to push his current overall streak to seven straight games with a home run. He'll look to keep that streak alive in a weekend series at Western Illinois.
