SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Drake’s Matija Matic and Denver’s Louise Wikander received the TicketSmarter Summit League Men’s and Women’s Peak Performers of the Week accolades, League officials announced on Tuesday.
 
Matic and the Bulldogs defeated Wisconsin, 6-1, last weekend as the Nicosia, Cyprus native began the match by teaming with Oliver Johansson at the top doubles spot where they defeated the ITA’s No. 28 doubles tandem of Gabriel Hunter and Michael Minasyan, 6-4. In singles play, Matic beat Jared Pratt, 7-6, 2-6, 6-2 at the No. 1 spot.
 
Wikander, who was a last-minute substitution into Denver’s singles lineup against Montana State, took over the No. 2 spot for the first time and defeated Mirte Van Baelen, 6-2, 6-2. In doubles action, the Helsingborg, Sweden native added a doubles win for the Pioneers, teaming with Taylor Melville for the first time and won 6-1, helping DU to a 7-0 sweep over the Bobcats.
