SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Drake’s Markus Bolin and Denver’s Britt Pursell collected the TicketSmarter Summit League Men’s and Women’s Peak Performers of the Week accolades, League officials announced on Tuesday.
 
Bolin shined in singles play against a top-120 opponent in Cornell’s Jack McCarthy, who is the No. 116 ranked ITA player. The Uppsala, Sweden native picked up a win at the No. 6 spot, 6-2, 6-1. In a 6-1 triumph over Washburn, Bolin teamed up with Olle Sonesson Lidholt for a 6-2 win at the No. 3 doubles position. In singles play, Bolin, posted a winning score of 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 5 spot.
 
Pursell won both of her matches in singles play at the No. 3 spot, beginning with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-1 victory over Iowa’s Vipasha Mehra. The Oceanside, Calif., native added a win at the No. 1 doubles sport with teammate Andrea Burguete Beltran, 6-4, over Kansas State. Pursell won the clinching match for Denver in its 4-2 win over the Wildcats with a 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 win against Vanesa Suarez, doing so with a lob winner to end a 30-stroke match and break point.

Men’s Peak Performer of the Week
Markus Bolin, Drake
