Jarvis went a combined 4-0 last week helping the Bulldogs capture a pair of League wins over North Dakota (5-2) and Omaha (7-0). The Springfield, Mo., native began his week by teaming with Matija Matic to defeat UND’s Gerhard Sullwald and Cian McDonnell, 7-5, at the No. 1 doubles spot. In the No. 5 singles position, Jarvis defeated Riley Odell, 6-0, 6-2.

Against the Mavericks, Jarvis and Matic teamed up to capture another double victory, this time against Omaha’s Davis Lawley and Quintan Van Wijk, 6-2. In singles play, Jarvis beat Van Wijk, 6-3, 6-2, at the No. 6 spot.

Melville finished 3-0 on the weekend in the top singles and doubles spot, starting with a win over No. 93-ranked Laia Conde Monfort in Denver’s 4-2 win at No. 68 Tulsa. The Duluth, Ga., native came from behind, losing the first set before answering with back-to-back 6-4 wins.

Melville returned to League competition and added two more wins under her belt, starting with a 6-1 win at the No. 1 doubles spot with partner Britt Pursell against Oral Roberts. The fifth-year senior rattled off consecutive 6-4 sets, topping ORU’s Sasha Lebedeva in straight sets and contributing to DU’s 7-0 sweep.
