STILLWATER, Okla. -- The Road to Omaha for Oral Roberts will begin in its home state. The Golden Eagles are opening NCAA Regional play in Stillwater, which is just over an hour drive from its campus in Tulsa.
The fourth-seeded Golden Eagles will play the region's top seed and No. 11 overall national seed Oklahoma State on Friday at 6 p.m. CT, while No. 2 seed Dallas Baptist will play No. 3 seed Washington earlier in the day at 12 p.m. Both of those games will be streamed on ESPN+.
Washington might feel like an outcast in this four-team field for a number of reasons beyond geography. The Huskies did not play the other three teams this season, while that trio all faced off against each other multiple times. Those other programs also won 40-plus games, making up a trio of the 25 DI teams that can make that claim.
Oral Roberts took both of its contests from Oklahoma State in mid-week clashes, while Dallas Baptist swept a non-conference home series against the Golden Eagles. The Cowboys and Patriots split a pair of mid-week matchups in March.
