SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – All nine institutions are highlighted on the 2024 Summit League Women's Soccer All-Academic Team announced by league officials on Tuesday. There was a total of 12 student-athletes named to the squad that was voted on by the membership's faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.
Denver’s Ella Frost and Omaha’s Regan Zimmers both earned their second Academic All-League honors. Oral Roberts’ Carson Arne, South Dakota State’s Katelyn Beulke and Lauren Eckerle, South Dakota’s Cambell Fischer, North Dakota’s Irene Jirasevijinda, Denver’s Liv Moritz, and Kansas City’s Lily Stedman all owned perfect 4.00 grade-point averages.
The Pioneers were also represented by Riley Baker to give DU a league-best three representatives on the squad. Hannah Arnold from North Dakota State and Lexi Huber from St. Thomas rounded out the selections.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions.
Nominations are brought forth by sports information directors from the league's nine institutions that carry women's soccer. The #SummitWSOC academic all-league team is made up of the 11 student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
