SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Eight institutions were represented on the 2025 Summit League Women’s Soccer All-Academic Team, announced Tuesday by league officials. A total of 15 student-athletes were selected to the squad, as voted on by the league’s faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.
Denver's Samantha Dreiling, North Dakota’s Alisha Maake, North Dakota State’s Hannah Arnold, Oral Roberts' Carson Arne, South Dakota’s Campbell Fischer, and South Dakota State’s Lauren Eckerle each earned their second career Academic All-League honor. Arne, Eckerle, Fischer, and Maake made up half of a group of eight on the team that posted perfect 4.0 grade point averages. They were joined by DU’s Shay Payne, Omaha’s Isabelle Milne, and USD’s Brooke Conway and Taylor Mulligan.
The Coyotes were also represented by Mali Van Meeteren, giving South Dakota a league-best four selections on the squad. Denver’s Isabella Chidiac and Hannah Tate, along with Kansas City’s Ashley Koch and Olivia Platt, rounded out the team.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions.
Nominations are brought forth by sports information directors from the league's nine institutions that carry women's soccer. The #SummitWSOC academic all-league team is made up of the 11 student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
