WAUKEE, Iowa – The field is set for the 2024 Summit League Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships and will be hosted Friday and Saturday at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center in Des Moines, Iowa. The first serve of the semifinals goes up at 9 a.m. CT Friday with the women kicking off the championship.
Schedules and locations are subject to change in the case of inclement weather.

What to Know
- The Denver women look to extend their championship win streak to 10 this year. The Pioneer women have extended their league record with their 10th regular season title. For the Denver men, the Pioneers look to capture their sixth championship trophy in the last ten years.
- The South Dakota women are making their 10th appearance at the championships. This is the first time since 2017 the Coyotes are the No. 2 seed and will match up with North Dakota for the first time in championship history.
- North Dakota women are making their fourth trip to the league championship. The Fighting Hawks are making their second consecutive trip to the championship where they were also the No. 3 seed.
- The Oral Roberts women are making their 18th trip to the championships and first since the 2022 campaign. The Golden Eagles will match up with No. 1 Denver in a rematch of the regular season finale where the Pioneers won, 7-0.
- Drake looks to capture its fifth championship title and third straight since joining the league in 2018. The Bulldogs claimed the regular season title and championship title in their first season with the league.
- The Fighting Hawk men earned their fourth consecutive trip to the Summit League championships. This will be the first time since 2021 North Dakota and Denver will face each other in the semifinals.
- The Illinois State Redbird men are making their second appearance at the Summit League championships and first since 2022. Illinois State and Drake and Denver will meet in the second semifinal match on Friday at 6 p.m. CT. Illinois State defeated Drake, 4-3, at home last month.
- Denver women haven’t dropped a single point in a record 16 Summit League Championship matches. The Pioneers have captured all 16 of their all-time tournament matches by 4-0 or 5-0 scores.
- As of April 16th, the Denver men are ranked 43rd in the country in the coaches’ poll released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
- For the Denver women, as of April 16th, they are ranked 52nd in the coaches' poll.
