SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Impressive performances at the 114^th Drake Relays earned North Dakota State, South Dakota and South Dakota State TicketSmarter Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Peak Performer of the Week honors, League officials announced Tuesday. South Dakota’s Dylan Kautz and North Dakota State’s Matt Kraft were honored on the men’s side while USD’s Erin Kinney and South Dakota State’s Nora Peterson picked up the awards for the women.
 
At the Drake Relays, Kautz clocked a personal-best time of 10.36 seconds in the 100-meter preliminaries to move him up to second in the League for the event. In the finals, he took fifth overall with a time of 10.62.
 
Kautz also anchored the Coyotes’ 4x100m relay to a runner-up finish with a USD record time of 39.82. The relay ranks tied for 66^th in the nation this season.
 
Kraft was runner-up in the javelin at the Drake Relays after launching a toss of 230-10 (70.37m). His second-place throw ranks 29^th in the NCAA this season for the javelin.
 
Kinney captured a pair of Drake Relay event titles in the 100m and the 4x200m relay. In the 100m, Kinney edged Kentucky’s top sprinter for the gold crossing the finish line in 11.51. The relay team set a South Dakota program with a time of 1:34.24.
 
The USD senior also ran a leg of the sprint medley relay which clocked a program record time of 3:51.54 good for fourth place overall.
 
Peterson walked award with the women’s javelin title at the Drake Relays. She won the college division with an SDSU school record toss of 156-4 (47.66m). The toss sits atop the League and ranks 41^st in the West Region.
