SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Ten-time Summit League women’s tennis regular season champion Denver was picked to hoist the 2025 trophy in the preseason coaches’ poll League officials announced Wednesday.
 
The Pioneers, who have captured both the regular season and tournament crowns each of their ten seasons with the league, sat atop the preseason poll with a total of 36 points and six of the seven first-place votes.
 
South Dakota was selected to finish runner-up after receiving 31 total points and the last remaining first-place vote. North Dakota followed in third with 23 points while Omaha sat in fourth with 20 total points. Oral Roberts and Kansas City were tied for fifth with 14 points apiece while St. Thomas rounded out the standings with nine points.

• Went 23-8 in singles (11-6 duals, 5-0 in Summit League)
• Was 27-12 in doubles (13-5 in duals, 5-0 in Summit League)
• Won ITA Mountain Regional doubles title with Pursell to advance to ITA National Fall Championships
• Finished ranked No. 2 in singles and No.  5 in doubles with Pursell in ITA Mountain Regional rankings
• Made it to the round of 32 at the 2024 NCAA Division I Singles & Doubles Championships in November

• Played No. 1 singles all season and finished with a 17-14 overall record (4-2 in Summit League)
• Compiled a 16-15 overall doubles record which included a 4-1 Summit League mark

• Posted an 8-13 overall record (1-4 in Summit League) during last season
• Was 3-6 at the No. 5 spot and 5-6 at No. 6 in the singles lineup
• Finished with a 6-8 overall doubles record

• Member of the 2024 All-Summit League honorable mention squad
• Went 17-6 in singles action during last season including a 5-1 ledger during league play
• Posted a 4-0 record at the No. 2 spot and a 13-6 record at the No. 3 spot in the singles lineup
• Was 5-7 in overall doubles action (2-2 in Summit League)

Arina Sorokina, Oral Roberts

• Went 7-9 during singles play overall and posted a 4-2 record in Summit League action
• Played primarily at the No. 2 spot where she compiled a 7-5 record
• Garnered an 8-10 doubles record (1-5 in Summit League)
• Was 7-7 overall at the top spot of the lineup in doubles play
