SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Ten-time Summit League women’s tennis regular season champion Denver was picked to hoist the 2025 trophy in the preseason coaches’ poll League officials announced Wednesday.
The Pioneers, who have captured both the regular season and tournament crowns each of their ten seasons with the league, sat atop the preseason poll with a total of 36 points and six of the seven first-place votes.
South Dakota was selected to finish runner-up after receiving 31 total points and the last remaining first-place vote. North Dakota followed in third with 23 points while Omaha sat in fourth with 20 total points. Oral Roberts and Kansas City were tied for fifth with 14 points apiece while St. Thomas rounded out the standings with nine points.

- Won ITA Mountain Regional doubles title with Pursell to advance to ITA National Fall Championships
- Finished ranked No. 2 in singles and No. 5 in doubles with Pursell in ITA Mountain Regional rankings
- Made it to the round of 32 at the 2024 NCAA Division I Singles & Doubles Championships in November
