Columbia, Mo. – North Dakota’s Jadyn Keeler, South Dakota State’s Cody Larson and Oral Roberts’ Abraham Chelangam concluded the 2025 cross country season at the NCAA Championships in Columbia, Missouri, on Saturday. Summit League champions Keeler and Larson earned the top League finishes placing 26
th and 98
th respectfully while Chelangam finished 127
th.
North Dakota
North Dakota cross country runner Jadyn Keeler became the first Fighting Hawk to earn USTFCCCA All-America honors in UND's Division I history on Saturday morning.
Keeler finished 26th at the NCAA Championships with a 6K time of 19:13.5. With the finish, she became the first All-American at UND in cross country since Heidi Evans, who took 30th in the 6K at the 2007 NCAA Division II Championships.
By competing at the national meet, Keeler also became just the third UND runner to run at nationals in the Division I era, joining Yonca Kutluk (88th, 2023) and Patrick Kipkemboi (209th, 2020).
South Dakota State
South Dakota State's Cody Larson places in the top 100 at the NCAA Cross Country Championship meet Saturday morning.
Larson ran well at the NCAA Cross Country Championship meet. The senior crossed the line at 29:34.2, finishing with a lifetime 10K PR. Larson's time landed him in 98th place out of 259 competitors. Larson is now the fourth Jackrabbit to compete at the NCAA Championship meet. He is preceded by Trent Lusignan, Joel Reichow, and Carson Noecker.
Oral Roberts
The Golden Eagles' Abraham Chelangam wrapped up his redshirt-junior season at NCAA Nationals on Saturday morning.
Chelangam was one of the two runners to represent the Summit League at NCAA Nationals, and it was his second consecutive season competing. The Kapchorwa, Uganda native finished 127
th out of 259 runners, posting a time of 29:47.2.
