SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver, Kansas City, North Dakota and Omaha captured the latest Kwik Star Summit League Men’s and Women’s Tennis Peak Performer of the Week honors, league officials announced Tuesday.
For their respective singles performances, Omaha’s Bryan Kuntz and Kansas City’s Catherine Chrobak took home the weekly awards. On the doubles side, North Dakota’s Andrew Hayduke II and Leo Galliano along with Denver’s duo of Andrea Burguete Beltran and Marley Lambert claimed the honor.
MEN’S TENNIS SINGLE PEAK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
Bryan Kuntz, Omaha (Sr)
- Garnered his first career peak performer award
- Won both of his singles matches against Big East opponents Butler (L, 5-2) and St. John’s (L, 6-1)
- Defeated Butler’s Nicolas Arts 6-1, 6-3 on the No. 3 court
- On the No. 2 court, overcame St. John’s Carl Gustavson 7-6, 4-6, 7-5

MEN’S TENNIS DOUBLES PEAK TEAM OF THE WEEK
Andrew Hayduke II (Fr) & Leo Galliano (Fr), North Dakota
- Galliano collected his third weekly accolade of the season
- Hayduke II earned his first career peak performer honor
- Put together a 2-0 weekend against Bellarmine (W, 7-0; W, 6-1)
- In the first meeting, defeated Bellarmine’s No. 3 doubles pair 6-0 to help secure the doubles point
- In the second match, the duo competed on the No. 2 court and downed Bellarmine’s pair 6-4
WOMEN’S TENNIS SINGLES PEAK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
Catherine Chrobak, Kansas City (Jr)
- Received the third peak performer accolade of her career, second consecutive of the season
- In team matches against UNLV (L, 6-1), Idaho State (L, 4-3) and Utah Tech (W, 5-2), went 3-0 on the week on the No. 2 court
- Won all three of her matches in straight sets
- Defeated UNLV’s No. 2 Veronica Kliiuch 6-3, 6-2
- Downed Idaho State’s Aseem Shoybek 6-3, 6-0
- Beat Utah Tech’s Olivia Bustos 6-1, 6-0

WOMEN’S TENNIS DOUBLES PEAK TEAM OF THE WEEK
Andrea Burguete Beltran (Sr) & Marley Lambert (Jr), Denver
- Burguete Beltran captured the sixth peak performer accolade of her career and second of the season
- Lambert collected her second career peak performer of the week honor, second of the season
- Went undefeated on the weekend to help Denver win the doubles point against BYU (L, 4-3) and Colorado State (W, 4-0)
- Posted 6-2 wins at the No. 1 doubles spot and were the first match to finish on each day
- Helped set the tone for DU, eventually leading to a 4-0 sweep of CSU, giving the Pios its second win of the season
