SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver and Omaha captured this week’s Kwik Star Summit League Men’s and Women’s Tennis Peak Performer of the Week accolades, league officials released Tuesday.
 
In singles action, Omaha’s Pavan Uppu and Denver’s Andrea Burguete Beltran captured the weekly accolades.
 
For their doubles performances, Omaha’s duo of Christian Trevey and Uppu snagged the weekly honors on the men’s side. The Denver dynamic duo of Beltran and Marley Lambert claimed their second straight award for the women’s side.
 
MEN’S TENNIS SINGLE PEAK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
Pavan Uppu, Omaha (R-Fr)

• Garnered his first career peak performer award, first this season
• Captured two individual victories against Oral Roberts (W, 5-2) and Kearney (W, 5-2) on the No. 6  and No. 5 courts in singles play
• On the No. 6 spot in the lineup, defeated ORU’s Ryan Holloway 6-3, 6-4 to clinch the match for the Mavericks
• At the No. 5, defeated UNK’s Alex Jaulin 7-6 (3), 6-4

MEN’S TENNIS DOUBLES PEAK TEAM OF THE WEEK
Christian Trevey (So) & Pavan Uppa (R-Fr), Omaha

• Like his partner, Trevey garnered the first peak performer honor of his career
• Went 2-0 in doubles play on the week at the No. 2 spot in the lineup
• Recorded a 6-2 win over Oral Roberts
• Defeated UNK with a final score of 6-4

WOMEN’S TENNIS SINGLES PEAK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
Andrea Burguette Beltran, Denver (Sr)

• Received the eighth peak performer accolade of her career, fourth of the season
• On the top court, defeated St. Thomas’ Caroline Lindahl. 6-2, 6-1
• Her victory was the fourth win in a row, all in straight sets, and was her second-best scoreline of 2025 so far
• Captured her 20^th singles match of the year and her team-leading seventh in a dual match
• Helped put Denver up 3-0 and eventually to a 7-0 sweep over St. Thomas

WOMEN’S TENNIS DOUBLES PEAK TEAM OF THE WEEK
Andrea Burguete Beltran (Sr) & Marley Lambert (Jr), Denver

• Lambert collected her fourth career peak performer of the week honor, fourth of the season
• Earned a 6-3 win against St. Thomas’ top doubles pair in the final regular season home match of the year
• Captured their ninth win of the season as a pair
• Helped DU finish the day with a 7-0 sweep, the fifth sweep of the year
