SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The field is set for the 2025 Summit League Men’s Tennis Championship, with four teams ready to battle for the Summit League trophy and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Championship will be hosted by the University of Denver at Denver Tennis Park April 18-19.
Denver enters as the No. 1 seed after claiming its 10th Summit League regular season title, extending a decade of dominance by completing an undefeated league campaign for the 10th time since joining the league.
The Pioneers secured the regular season crown after defeating No. 2 North Dakota 5-0 in today’s regular season finale to officially clinch the No. 1 seed and their 10th league title.
Denver (26-3; 5-0 SL) will face No. 4 Illinois State (7-16; 2-3 SL) in the second men’s semifinal match on Friday, April 18, at 12 p.m. MT. Meanwhile, No. 2 North Dakota (20-9; 4-1 SL) will open the championship against No. 3 Omaha (10-11; 3-2 SL) in the first men’s semifinal at 9 a.m. MT on Friday.
The winners of each semifinal will advance to the championship match on Saturday, April 19, at 10 a.m. MT, where the tournament champion will secure the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
