SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A total of 30 Summit League indoor track and field student-athletes, 15 women and 15 men, were selected to the 2024-25 Academic All-League team as voted on by a panel of Faculty Athletic Representatives and Sports Information Directors from the League’s member institutions. The recipients were chosen based on their academic and athletic performances during the indoor season.
The Bison landed a League-leading nine total selections on the list of 30, while the Coyotes had six and the Fighting Hawks and Jackrabbits four, respectively.
South Dakota teammates Sara Reifenrath, Erin Kinney, Spencer Buley, and Eerik Haamer have earned the honor for the third time in their respective careers along with South Dakota State’s Hunter Wallster.
North Dakota’s Tiffanie Magnusson and Eve Goldstein, and North Dakota State’s Meredith Spiers were all named to the team for the second time in their careers.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions.
Nominations are brought forth by sports information directors from the league's eight institutions that carry track and field, and voting is conducted by both the SIDs and facility athletic representatives (FARs). Each team is made up of the 15 student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
