ORU Selected for Bremerton Regional Following Summit League Championship

TULSA, Okla. – Fresh off capturing the 2025 Summit League Championship, the Oral Roberts men's golf team has been selected to compete in the Bremerton Regional of the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships, which will be played at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Washington from May 12–14.

The Golden Eagles will enter as the No. 13 seed in the 14-team field, joining a regional headlined by top-seeded Arizona State, along with Florida, Utah, South Carolina, and others. The top five teams and the lowest-scoring individual not on one of those teams will advance to the national championship, held May 23–28 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., with Texas serving as the host institution.

ORU punched its ticket after winning their eighth Summit League title in program history at the Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz., finishing four strokes ahead of North Dakota State. The victory marked ORU's first league crown since 2010.

Leading the charge was junior Kevin An, who clinched the individual title in a three-man playoff after carding rounds of 70-67-69 (-7). His poise on the first playoff hole secured ORU's first individual Summit League title since 2021. Christian Johnson and Philip Voetmann also delivered clutch final rounds in the 60s, finishing tied for sixth and tied for 11th, respectively.
