2025 #SummitOTF Most Outstanding Performers, All-League announced

USD’s Mülla, KC’s Lanham named #SummitOTF Most Outstanding Performers

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League officials announced the 2025 Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Most Outstanding Performers of the Championship and the 117 All-Summit League team honorees Wednesday. South Dakota’s Marleen Mülla earned the Most Outstanding Performer of the Championship for the women, while Kansas City’s Tory Lanham claimed the award on the men’s side.

Mülla opened the championship with a first-place finish in the pole vault, leaping a meet record 15-0” to claim the Summit League title.  The Coyote senior finished the championship by placing sixth in the high jump with a leap of 5-4.25”. The Estonia native ranks fourth in the NCAA and fourth in the West Regional.

Lanham kicked off the championship by setting a meet record during the 200-meter prelims Thursday running a time of 20.52 seconds. Lanham anchored the 4x100m relay to a second-place finish after receiving the baton in fifth place. The Roo sophomore won the 200m finals with a time of 20.83 before anchoring the 4x400m relay to a first-place finish, splitting a 45.3 to take the tape by two thousandths of a second.

The Most Outstanding Performer of the Championship is determined by a vote of the participating head coaches and is based upon the student-athletes’ performance during the Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

To receive the All-Summit League accolade a student-athlete must finish in the top three in an event category at the league championship meet.
