SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – With the 2024-25 academic year coming to a close later this month, Summit League officials released the League-only schedules for the 2025 fall season for the sports of women’s and men’s soccer and volleyball.

2025 WOMEN’S SOCCER
The women’s soccer schedule will feature eight matches and be played on Thursdays and Sundays throughout a five-week stretch starting in late September. The League matches will begin Thursday, Sept. 25 with reigning regular season champion North Dakota State opening at home vs. Omaha.

The Summit League Women’s Soccer Championship will feature six teams yet again and incorporate a format that covers two weekends. The quarterfinals will be played on either Nov. 1-2 with the No. 3 seed hosting the No. 6 seed and the No. 4 seed hosting the No. 5 seed. The No. 1 seed will then host the semifinals and title match that will take place on Nov. 6 and Nov. 9.

2025 MEN’S SOCCER
With the additions of Delaware and UMass as men’s soccer affiliates this season, the seven programs will play a single round-robin format starting on Sept. 27 with six consecutive Saturdays filled with three matches before regular season play concludes on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Denver, who made the program’s second run to the 2024 College Cup will open at home against Kansas City. The Roos made their deepest NCAA Tournament run a season ago, advancing to the third round.

The 2025 Summit League Men’s Soccer Championship will return to a four-team format this season with semifinals being played Sunday, Nov. 9 on campus sites and hosted by the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds. The highest-remaining seed will then host the title match Saturday, Nov. 8 on its campus.

2025 SUMMIT LEAGUE VOLLEYBALL
The nine-week volleyball schedule will be a double round-robin format featuring all nine League members. The first serve of the regular season will go up on Thursday, Sept. 25 with matches throughout the season being played Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Defending regular season champion South Dakota State will open at home against runner-up Omaha.

The regular season comes to an end on Nov. 18 with the championship taking place for the first time on South Dakota State’s campus. The Jackrabbits, who won the program’s first regular season title in 2024, will host the three-day event starting Sunday, Nov. 23-25.
