SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – A total of 33 Summit League indoor track and field student-athletes, 15 women and 18 men, were selected to the 2025-26 Academic All-League team as voted on by a panel of Faculty Athletic Representatives and Sports Information Directors from the League’s member institutions. The recipients were chosen based on their academic and athletic performances during the indoor season.
The Bison led all League teams with nine total selections for the second straight season, while the Coyotes had the second most with six, while St. Thomas followed in third with five.
All-Americans Marleen Mülla of South Dakota and Zach McGlynn of North Dakota State each received the third academic all-league honor of their respective careers to pace the group of 33.
On the women’s side, the NDSU duo of Ella Gardner and Marvelous Onwualo each garnered their second award along with North Dakota’s Jadyn Keeler.
On the men’s side, South Dakota State's Ryan Hackbart, South Dakota’s Landon Olson, and Kansas City’s Kai White also secured the honor for the second straight year.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions.
Nominations are brought forth by sports information directors from the league's eight institutions that carry track and field, and voting is conducted by both the SIDs and facility athletic representatives (FARs). Each team is made up of the 15 student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
