SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The 2026 Summit League Baseball Championship bracket was released by League officials Saturday evening with Oral Roberts earning the No. 1 seed for the second straight year and 22^nd time in program history.

After sharing the regular season title a season ago, Oral Roberts won this year’s outright after finishing 22-6 in Summit Play. The regular season trophy is the 22^nd for ORU and the program will take aim for its 23^rd tournament title starting Wednesday in Minneapolis, Minn.

Omaha earned the No. 2 seed after taking three of four from South Dakota State over the final week of the regular season to finish 16-11 in Summit play. The Mavericks and the No. 4 seed Jackrabbits have each won the tournament title once, while No. 3 seed Northern Colorado returns to the postseason after advancing to the title game during its first appearance in 2024 when the Bears were the No. 4 seed.

The top-seeded Golden Eagles and SDSU will begin the tournament in Wednesday’s opener at Noon CT. ORU took all six games from the Jackrabbits during their regular season matchups.

The second-seeded Mavericks and Bears will play in the second game at 6 p.m. CT. These two teams split their six regular season tilts with three of those contests decided by one run.

The four-team tournament will be played May 20-23 in at the University of Minnesota’s Siebert Field and hosted by St. Thomas, who was 2025 co-regular season champions with ORU. All games will be streamed live on the Summit League Network.

The double-elimination tournament will see the losers from Wednesday’s action play at Noon Thursday with the winner’s set to play at 6 p.m. CT later that evening.

Friday’s only scheduled game will take place at 4 p.m. CT and feature the winner from Thursday’s first game vs. the loser of the second tilt. The winner of Friday’s game advances to Saturday’s title game against the only remaining unbeaten team in the field at 1 p.m. CT. The “If Necessary” game would take place 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game.
