SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State senior Mia Seeman and North Dakota State sophomore Brock Winter captured the latest TicketSmarter #SummitGF Golfer of the Week accolades, league officials announced Wednesday.

Both of this week’s honorees earned medalist honors at the Stampede at the Creek women’s and men’s tournaments hosted by Omaha.

Seeman won the first weekly award of her career after firing a 217 (+1) to lead the Jackrabbits to the team title as well as they held off four other Summit League foes in the eight-team field.

Seeman opened with back-to-back rounds under par, posting a 71 (-1) in round one and a season-low 69 (-3) in round two, which helped her hold off Creighton’s Katherine Lemke by a stroke to earn her first collegiate win. The Milton, Wis., native led the 53-player field with 11 birdies.

Winter earned his second weekly honor in the last three weeks and captured his first collegiate tournament by posting a career-best 209 (-7) total to win medalist honors at the Stampede at the Creek. The sophomore helped the Bison post a school-record 31-stroke victory in a nine-team field that included five other Summit League programs.

The Stillwater, Minn., native bounced back from an opening-round 74 (+2) to fire a career-best 65 (-7) in the second round and take over the top spot with a closing 70 (-2). He led the 54-player field with 14 birdies and it was his sixth top-10 finish of the season as the Bison set a program record with their fifth team title during the year.
