SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – St. Thomas’ Kathryn VanArragon and South Dakota’s Cole Witherow were selected #SummitGF Peak Golfers of the Week, League officials announced Thursday. VanArragon won her third-straight individual title while Witherow finished second at the Badger Invitational.

VanArragon continued her sensational start to the season by claiming another individual title at the Diane Thomason Invitational in Davenport, Iowa, sharing medalist honors with Bowling Green’s Addison Kartusch. VanArragon opened with a five-under 67, the second-lowest round of the tournament in a 79-player field. She closed the final round with a 72 to finish one-under 215 to pick up her third consecutive individual crown so far this season. She has yet to finish outside the top spot through the season.

This is VanArragon’s third weekly honor of the season and sixth overall after winning one in 2024-25 and two in 2023-24.

Witherow finished as the runner-up individually at the Badger Invitational, finishing with an 11-under 205 and was just three strokes off the individual champion in the 19-team field. Witherow opened with a two-under 70 before posting back-to-back rounds under par, shooting a five-under 67 in the second round and a four-under 68 in the final round. This was his second runner-up finish of his career.

This is Witherow’s first weekly accolade of the year.
