SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Denver’s Anna Zanusso and North Dakota State’s Brock Winter earned the latest TicketSmarter #SummitGF Peak Golfer of the Week accolades, league officials announced Thursday. Zanusso claimed her second consecutive first female honor and sixth of her career, while Winter garnered his third career weekly honor and first of the season.

Zanusso fired three consecutive under-par rounds to finish as the runner-up at The Show hosted at the Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas. The senior finished with a 54-hole total of 209 (-7) and led the 87-player field in par-4 scoring at -6.

Zanusso’s top-five finish was her third of the season as she helped guide the Pioneers to a fifth-place team finish. She posted rounds of 70 (-2), 68 (-4), and 71 (-1) as she made 11 birdies in Nevada.

Winter bounced back from an opening 75 (+3) to shoot back-to-back, bogey-free rounds of 67 (-5) to shoot up the leaderboard and earn a share of medalist honors at the Savannah Intercollegiate. It marked the second career collegiate victory for Winter.

Winter’s 67’s were the low scores of the tournament and his 12 birdies were second most in the 90-player field. His efforts helped the Bison take second in the 15-team field.
