SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State swept the latest TicketSmarter #SummitGF Peak Golfer of the Week accolades with Nate Adams securing the male honor and Jo Baranczyk earning the female nod, League officials announced Thursday.

Adams picked up his second medalist honors of the season at the GCU Invitational helping the Bison to a runner-up finish in the 16-team field.

The Maple Grove, Minn., who won the OBX/ODU Intercollegiate earlier this fall, fired a career-best 203 (-13) at the GCU Championship Course and led the 88-player field with 17 birdies.

Adams sandwiched a career-best 64 (-7) in the second round between opening and closing rounds of 68 (-3) as he won the tournament by a pair of strokes. This is the fifth individual trophy a Bison golfer has won this season.

Barancyzk closed the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Classic with a career-best 70 (-2) to move up six places and take runner-up honors in the 90-player field. She finished with a career-low 217 (+1) total at the Sunbrook Golf Course.

Baranczyk made nine birdies, tying for third in that category. Four of those came in her final round. This was the second top-five finish of the season for the Green Bay, Wis., native.
