SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the third time this season, Oral Roberts’ Abraham Chelangam and North Dakota State’s Reagan Baesler have been named Summit League Cross Country Peak Performers of the Week, League officials unveiled Tuesday.
 
At the Weis-Crockett Invitational, Chelangam clocked a career-best and league-leading 8k time of 23:35.4 for third overall. His league-leading time also broke the ORU record in the 8k event and makes him only the second Golden Eagle runner to dip under the 24-minute barrier since Jonah Lagat’s 23:53 performance at the 2008 Summit League Cross Country Championships.
 
At the Bradley Pink Classic, Baesler put together a personal-best 6k performance of 20:23.1, the fastest by a Bison at the event and seventh-fastest overall in school history. Her personal-best race helped Baesler finish fifth out of 259 runners and the Bison to ninth out of 35 Division I schools.
