SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha’s Nicole Hansen and South Dakota’s Max Schmidtke garnered the latest TicketSmarter #SummitGF Female and Male Peak Golfer of the Week accolades, respectively, League officials announced Monday. For Hansen, it was her first honor of the season and second of her career, while Schmidtke was recognized for the first time in his career.

Hansen finished runner-up in the 63-player field at the Islander Classic, posting a 54-hole total of 227 (+11). She ranked in the top five in both par-3 and par-5 scoring during the tournament and tied for the third most birdies with eight.

Schmidtke tied for 11^th at the World Golf Village Collegiate, birdieing his final hole to shoot a 54-hole total of 215 (-1). The birdie was his 10^th of the week as he led the Coyotes in that category and was also even-par or better on the par 3’s, par 4’s and par 5’s.
