SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Kansas City sophomore Lucas Dutartre and St. Thomas junior Isabella Lynch garnered the latest TicketSmarter #SummitGF Peak Golfer of the Week accolades, respectively, League officials announced Monday. Dutarte earns his second career weekly honor, while Lynch collected her first.
Dutarte recorded his first top-five finish of the season at the Hawkeye Invitational where he carded a season-low 207 (-6) total to share third place in the 54-hole event. He opened with a 68 (-3) and closed with a 67 (-4) to post a pair of rounds in the 60s in the same tournament for the first time this season.
The Paris, France native tallied 16 birdies, which were the second most in the field as he racked up his third top-10 finish of the season.
Lynch closed the Stamped at the Creek with a career-best 68 (-4) to claim medalist honors for the first time in her collegiate career and edge teammate Kathryn VanArragon by one stroke. It was the third top-five finish of the season for Lynch.
The Bloomington, Minn., native improved each of her rounds by four strokes after opening with a 76 (+4) and shooting an even-par 72 in the second. Her efforts helped the Tommies to a second-place team finish behind North Dakota State.
