SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota juniors Ella Greenberg and Joe Rohlwing were deemed the Kwik Star #SummitGF Peak Golfers of the Week, League officials announced Thursday. Greenburg collected the women’s award for the first time in her career while Rohlwing garnered the men’s honor for the second time.

Greenberg carded rounds of 79, 72 and 74 for a 225 (+9) total to finish tied for fifth at the Powercat Invitational. The Rockford, Ill., native battled through tough conditions to lead the Yotes to a seventh-place finish in the 16-team field. After a slow start that included just one birdie in the opening round, Greenberg rebounded with five in her second round and totaled nine across the 54-hole tournament. Her nine birdies were good for the fifth-most in the 88-player field.

After opening the La Tour Intercollegiate with rounds of 70 (-2) and 74 (+2), Rohlwing caught fire in the final round, carding 10 birdies en route to a 62 (-10), marking the lowest round in South Dakota program history. The Apple Valley, Minn., native finished fifth individually and helped the Yotes break their team record with a 54-hole total of 836 (-28), topping the previous mark of 840 to secure second place and close the fall season on a high note. Rohlwing tallied 19 birdies over the tournament, including a five-hole birdie streak from holes 12–16 in the final round.
