SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The 2025 Summit League Indoor Track and Field Championships will take place this Friday and Saturday at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, S.D. This year’s championships will be the fourth time in League history that the Jackrabbits have hosted the event and first since 2021.
The championships’ schedule will start at 9:30 a.m. CT on both Friday and Saturday with the multi-events. Field events will start at 3 p.m. CT on Friday and 11:30 a.m. CT on Saturday. Running events will begin at 3:30 p.m. CT on Friday and 1 p.m. CT on Saturday.

Women's Front Runners
- North Dakota State is looking to go back-to-back for the first time since 2021.
- The reigning champions were selected as the preseason favorite for the indoor crown by a ten-point margin over South Dakota.
- In the USTFCCCA rankings, three teams are headed into the championships ranked in the top 15 in the Midwest. South Dakota sits at No. 11, North Dakota at No. 12 and North Dakota State at No. 14.
- There are six student-athletes looking to repeat as individual champions in their respective events: South Dakota State’s Claire Beckman (800m), North Dakota State’s Arienne Birch (high jump), South Dakota’s Erin Kinney (60m), North Dakota State’s Grace Emineth (triple jump), North Dakota’s Kenna Curry (weight), North Dakota’s Marlene Kollberg (pentathlon).
- The League has four entries ranked in the top 25 nationally: UND’s Kenna Curry (No. 6 – weight throw) and Jadyn Keeler (No. 17 – 5,000m) and USD’s Anna Willis (No. 15– pole vault) and Cassidy Mooneyhan (No. 13 – pole vault).

RECORD WATCH
Erin Kinney-South Dakota - Kinney already owns the Summit League Championship record in the 60-meter dash after running a 7.24 at the 2023 Indoor Championship. This season she has run a best of 7.27 and looks to challenge her 2023 record. Kinney will also try to tackle teammate Sara Reifenrath’s 200 record of 23.52. Kinney is the only athlete in the Summit League this season to run a sub 24 second 200 posting a best of 23.89 at the USD Alumni Meet.
Sara Reifenrath-South Dakota - Reifenrath set the Summit League Indoor Championship record of 23.52 in the 200 in 2022 and 53.55 the 400 in 2021. She will look to best both of those records this season after sprinting season bests of 24.01 and 53.31 respectively.
Berkeley Engelland-
South Dakota -Engelland ran a season best 800 Meter at the Tyson Invitational where she posted a time of 2:09.40. The Summit League Indoor Championship record of 2:08.74 in the 800 was set by North Dakota State’s Amy Andrushko in 2017.
Jadyn Keeler-
North Dakota-Keeler has completely rewritten the North Dakota record books after a sensational junior season. The Fighting Hawk will have opportunity to break the mile, 3,000-, and 5,000-meter record at the Summit League Indoor Track and Field Championship. Keeler ran a season best 4:44.03 in the mile at the UND Open and Multi meet. The Championship record is a 4:41.28 set by Erin Teschuk of North Dakota State in 2015. Keeler ran a season best 9:17.58 in the 3,000 at the Jim Emmerich Alumni Meet. The Championship record is a 9:08.79 set by Erin Teschuk of North Dakota State in 2016. The Fighting Hawk Junior ran a season best and NCAA top 25 time of 15:28.29 in the 5,000 meter at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational. The Summit League Indoor Championship record in the 5,000 is a 16:25.16 set by Jennie Baragar-Petrash of North Dakota State in 2021.
Brielle Dixon-
South Dakota State- Dixon has had an undefeated season in the 60-meter hurdles thus far. The Jackrabbit ran a career best 8.26 at the SDSU Indoor Classic. The Summit League Indoor Championship record was set a season ago when Salmata Korgho of North Dakota State ran an 8.28.
4x400- Both South Dakota and North Dakota State will challenge the 4x400-meter-relay Summit League Indoor Championship record set a season ago by South Dakota when Schmeichel, Reifenrath, Kinney, and Pulse ran a 3:41.71. The Coyotes have a season best time of 3:42.73 and the Bison have a season best time of 3:43.80 heading into the Summit League Indoor Track and Field Championship.
Cassidy Mooneyhan-
South Dakota- Mooneyhan will look to best the Summit League Indoor Championship pole vault record of 14-5.5” set by Bethany Buell of South Dakota in 2013. Mooneyhan vaulted a personal best 14-6.75” at the USD Alumni Meet.
Anna Willis-
South Dakota- Willis will look to best the Summit League Indoor Championship pole vault record of 14-5.5” set by Bethany Buell of South Dakota in 2013. Willis vaulted a personal best 14-6.25 at the 2025 Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.
Ella Gardner-
North Dakota State- Gardner will look to best the Summit League Indoor Championship long jump record of 20-6.5” set by Whitney Carlson of North Dakota State in 2010. Gardner leaped a personal best 20-1.75” at the Dakota Alumni Classic.
Grace Emineth-
North Dakota State- Emineth will look to best the Summit League Indoor Championship long jump record of 20-6.5” set by Whitney Carlson of North Dakota State in 2010 and the triple jump record of 42’2.25” set by Jazzelena Black of South Dakota State in 2016. Emineth leaped a season best 20-0.25” at the UND Tune up and has a career best of 20-3.75” in the long jump. Emineth jumped a season best 41-7 at the Music City Challenge.
Nyariek Kur-
North Dakota State- Kur will look to best the Summit League Indoor Championship triple jump record of 42’2.25” set by Jazzelena Black of South Dakota State in 2016. Emineth leaped a season best 41-7 at the Music City Challenge.
Kenna Curry-North Dakota Curry has one of the top weight throws in the nation after launching a 75-0.5” foot throw at the East Coast Invitational. She will look to set the new Summit League Indoor Championship record and beat South Dakota’s Lara Boman’s toss of 72-6.25” from 2019.

RECORD WATCH
Stephen Clunis-Kansas City: Dylan Kautz 60-meter dash record of 6.64 set in 2023 is in jeopardy of falling. Clunis has already posted 60-meter times of 6.66 and 6.65 seconds this season.
Tory Lanham-Kansas City: Lanham is one of the fastest 200-meter runners in the country posting a career best 20.93 on February 7
th. He looks to challenge the record of 20.93 set by South Dakota State’s Coby Hilton in 2021.
Mason Sindelar-South Dakota: Sindelar is one of two student-athletes in the Summit League to break 1:50 in the 800-meters this season with a PR of 1:49.34. Sindelar looks to challenge the Summit League championship record of 1:48.41 set by Ackeen Colley of Western Illinois in 2022. Sindelar will also have a strong chance at the Summit League Championship mile record of 4:06.06 set by Kyle Burdick of South Dakota State in 2019. Sindelar ran a career best 4:03.07 at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational earlier this season.
Ethan Moe-North Dakota State: Moe will also be a threat to best the Summit League Championship mile record. Moe ran a personal best time of 4:02.92 at the Music City Challenge.
Cody Larson-South Dakota State: Larson could have his eye on three separate Summit League championship records. Larson has already run faster than the Summit League Championship mile record when he posted his best time of the season at the SDSU Indoor Classic, running a 4:03.72. Larson also has the 3,000 record within his sights. The current record of 8:09.82 was set by Ben Olson of South Dakota State in 2022. Larson’s best time of the season came at the Iowa State Classic where he ran an 8:05.54. The 5,000-meter record of 14:07.76 waws set just a season ago by Oral Roberts’ Abraham Chelangam. Larson has posted a season bet time of 14:06.83.
Artwell Magaka- and Caleb Rivera-:- Magake and Rivera are two more candidates looking to break the mile record in a standout field. Magake ran a personal best time of 4:03.10 at the Arkansas Qualifier, while Rivera clocked his personal best time of 4:03.01 at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational.
Matej Hrebacka-North Dakota: Hrebacka has the best time in the Summit this season in the 3,000 meter after running an 8:03.05 at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational. The current Summit League Championship record of 8:09.82 was set by Ben Olson of South Dakota State in 2022.
South Dakota State 4x400- The Current 4x400 Summit League Championship record was set by Oral Roberts in 2022 with a time of 3:10.44. The Jacks 4x400 have run a season best 3:12.12.
Landon Olson-
South Dakota-Olson has had a fantastic junior campaign jumping a career high 7-2.5” at the USD Alumni Meet. The Summit League Championship record of 7’-2.25” was set by former Coyote Zack Anderson in 2019.
