SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts junior Kevin An and freshman Ben Gratzl shared the spring’s first #SummitGF Peak Golfer of the Week accolades, League officials announced Thursday. An earned the second weekly honor of his career, while Gratzl claimed his first.
An and Gratzl both finished with the lowest individual score for the Golden Eagles at the N.I.T. hosted by the University of Arizona. The Golden Eagle duo posted identical scores throughout each of the three rounds, going 69-70-72, respectively to finish the 54-hole tournament at 211 (-5).
They shared 22
nd place in a stacked 76-player field, which included the 11
th-ranked Wildcats, No. 36 BYU, and No. 43 Southern California.
An carded 13 birdies over his three rounds, while Gratzle made a team-high 14 birdies and added an eagle at the Omni Tucson National Resort.
